  Java Web Hosting Overview
(JSP, Servlets, Tomcat & JBoss Hosting)

Before you choose a Java (JSP and Servlets) web hosting or Tomcat (Shared or Private), Private JVM, or Private JBoss web hosting provider you should ask yourself “Why is it that only few companies offer Java hosting?” The answer to this common question is quite simple – hosting Java web applications (i.e. JSP and Servlets hosting) is a complicated task that requires Java expertise in and out. Anyone can offer ASP.NET and/or PHP web hosting but only a few can offer quality Java (JSP/Servlets) hosting

At DailyRazor Hosting we eat and breathe Java! We are the industry leader in providing affordable, quality and efficient web hosting solution for web applications built on Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), Tomcat (Shared and Private JVM), and Java Servlets. We host mission critical applications for companies like MTV Latin America, Jouer Cosmetics, LLC., KillerSites.com, YaPrice.com, Goggle MapIT, and much more. All these sites run on our Java hosting platform configured for optimum performance using Tomcat 5.5.x or 6.x, MySQL 4.1.x or MySQL 5.0, PostgreSQL 7.3.x or 8.x, Apache 1.3.3 and web application frameworks such as Struts, Hibernate, Cocoon, Ant, LifeRay, etc.

We offer three types of Java hosting – Shared Tomcat, Private Tomcat and Private JBoss. Private JBoss hosting is only available on our Virtual Dedicated Servers’ plans. It’s very important you analyze and understand your Java web hosting requirement before deciding on whether to go with a shared java hosting environment on a Shared Tomcat or a private java hosting environment on a Private Tomcat or Private JBoss.
